Spring 2013

It's here, Spring is here! with all the beauty that brings, also with rain and a bit of cold weather... but is all good, soon enough will be summer and the days will be way to hot, so lets enjoy it while it last!
We had the chance to celebrate Easter this year at the botanical Garden and it was so pretty. no decorations at home, for some reason I just don't take this holiday to heart. it's not like Christmas that we have a whole month to enjoy it.

I just love to sit and look at the tree, I am so happy in how it come out.

since I don't have a fire a place, I made a mantel but painting a piece of wood trimming and painting it black, I nail in some hooks and hang it to the wall, then it was ready to be decorated. loved it!

I found the pillow covers at Amazon, the colors match perfectly with my year round decor, Almost want to leave them...but I wont. the pictures hanging on the back say  "HO HO HO" I made them using dollar store 8x10 frames, scrap-booking paper  and my Cricut to cut the letters. I placed bubbles on my tree next to the couch to make it more festive.

The Garland I made it using dollar store ribbons and bubbles and  greenery. I decorated the lamp with red ribbon and dollar store bubbles.

This is my dinning room. I have 3 glass trees that I got at Walmart, I filled them with candy. also have to candle holders I found at Big Lots for $5 each. I got the coasters at Longaberger and also the little bowl and spreader knife. the table runner I got at 50% off at Hobby Lobby.

more decorations.

I love my small tree in the Breakfast nook-Bar.

I hope who ever comes to see my blogs enjoys what I done, I am very new at this blogging stuff, so please be kind and leave me a post.

Our Christmas...Can't Wait!

I am so happy, I can't hardly believe it! we are doing Our Christmas this year, and I been  preparing for months! maybe next year it will be different because it will be our second Christmas, but this one we are going, and by we I really mean me! lol we are going all out on this decoration that is so new to me.

I love birds, so I decided my first Christmas tree would be a bird tree, I have spend hours of searching the internet and local craft stores to find the perfect birds that would go an it. this bird house was my first inspiration.

We started on the tree on Thanksgiving, after we ate our family meal. and this is the way it looked after we were "done" I say it like that because I have been working on it ever since!

I love this ornament, I got it at walmart. I also have other ornaments that were giving to me by friends when they find out we would be celebrating Christmas this year.

this little glass birds is just precious!

oh, I could not resist this one.

stunning!

I hand made this one. Proud of the way it came out.
